Yep, you read that right! Meet George, the German Shepherd/Chihuahua (and other breeds) mix! Thanks to his former adopter, we have his DNA results on file! If you need a one-of-a-kind lowrider dog in your life, he's ready to come with you on all your adventures. Despite his short legs, he's a speedy, athletic guy who loves pretty much any type of toy. Under his foster parent's tutoring, his fetch and catch skills are improving, although giving the ball back is still the hardest step for him. After wearing himself out, he is ready to cuddle and will be your shadow, hanging out nearby to keep you company. George has separation anxiety, so his foster parent and shelter staff can share where he is on his training journey and help you brainstorm ways to keep him from panicking about being alone in his new home--he has already made promising improvements! He finds visitors and making new friends (dogs or humans) very exciting and is still working on not tackling prospective friends or barking at them.
